PAAC Approved is a program designed to help local businesses, sports leagues, churches, doctors, dentists, and schools learn the basics of autism so they can better service the high autism population in our area. The program is developed to lead families with a member on the spectrum to businesses who are willing to serve them. An organization will attend a short training that has been designed specifically around their field. The team member who provides the training discusses the basics about autism and then offers ways this information can be used to better serve their clients.
When your team completes the training you will be listed on our PAAC approved directory below, you will be featured on the PAAC approved FB page and the Pennsylvania Autism Action Center Facebook Page will feature you and your services. You will receive a sticker for your door that families recognize as PAAC approved, you are encouraged to share any sales and brochures with PAAC so they can provide to their clients and will always recommend a PAAC approved company first!
The fees for this program are very low and the size of your organization is taken into account. The PAAC organization is a therapy based organization and moneys earned by this program will benefit the company as a whole thus helping support local social skills and ABA programs for children in this community.
